Dr. Terry McGlone holds a B.A. in Psychology from Wellesley College, and a M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Child Psychology from The Ohio State University. Prior to moving to North Carolina, she worked with children, adolescents and their families in government and university clinics in California and Texas.
For more than 30 years, she has been in private practice in Raleigh specializing in the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents experiencing emotional, behavioral, learning and attention problems. She provides individual therapy, family counseling, parent education, psychological testing, and school consultation. She has a special interest in Montessori schools.
Dr. McGlone enjoys gardening, photography, scuba diving, reading, and bicycling. Her daughter is a graduate student in chemistry at UNC.
